Jersey Street Wedding Transformation

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

Jersey Street Furniture transformed the Angel Orensanz Center, New York’s oldest surviving synagogue built in Gothic revival style, into a spectacular wedding space.  Jersey Street played off of the natural ornate decor, draping the walls with white fabrics and giving an intimate feel with muted lighting to create a romantic ambiance.  The upstairs balcony was transformed into a cool, seculded lounge area: custom made elegant white cushions that were placed atop plain wooden benches while pink lighting gave a funky feel as guests relaxed and celebrated the wedding.

Jersey Street Pier 60 NYC Bat Mitzvah

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

Jersey Street loves New York and that’s why we were psyched to do a very “New York” Bat Mitzvah last weekend at Pier 60 on the Hudson in NYC.  To go with the theme, the room was decorated with NYC subway maps encased in our clear, Lucite tables, while NYC themed gifts were put in our display cases.  The big news and hit of the party was the debut of the illuminated communal bar and a new tufted pedestal communal table.

GRAND SLAM BAR MITZVAH

Friday, September 11th, 2009

Nationwide fans have been glued to their televisions watching the heated tennis matches, so the timing couldn’t have been better for a Jersey Street US Open themed Bar Mitzvah!  Last week at the famed Tribeca Rooftop in NYC out client celebrated his Bar Mitzvah in true tennis style with sleek white couches adorned with branded green pillows and green background lighting that created a sporty ambiance.  While Andy Roddick was beating Bjorn Phau in the stadium, guests were partying like they were on the courts with green Astroturf decorating the ground and oversized tennis balls creating cool table centerpieces.  Guests didn’t have to sit courtside to enjoy a taste of the tennis life as they sipped exotic drinks from a white tufted bar with a sleek mirror back.  The only that that was missing was Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams - maybe next time!
