Jersey Street on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

Jersey Street produced an amazing Sweet 16 for one of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”. We transformed Loft 350 at The Wilshire Grand Hotel into a hot, hot, hot dance party that rocked the Reality TV world. The place was screaming zebra and burgundy velvet. We built a huge raised illuminated dance stage to keep the night going. We built another smaller stage covered in zebra carpet where we placed our huge 84″ round burgundy velvet ottoman. Around the ottoman were 4 burgundy velvet serpentine benches. Around the room we placed our white tufted leather serpentine banquettes with a view, along with white leather tufted end tables. Very clubby! To top it all off, we built a big 21 ft zebra tufted front and back bar for the best non alcoholic cocktails this side of the Garden State Parkway.

Long Island Mansion Mitzvah

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

Jersey Street did a gorgeous Bar Mitzvah last weekend at the Hempstead House Mansion out at the Sands Pt Reserve in Long Island. This old Guggenheim mansion with it’s Medieval look was an amazing space to work with. We worked with the huge stone walls and high ceilings and shot green uplights everywhere. With white leather furniture vignettes all over the place the green lights took you back to it’s original form.

Two huge white leather tufted bars were used at each end of the party to keep it rocking.

ELEGANT BLACK & WHITE WEDDING

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

Jersey Street transformed Temple Bnai Jeshuran in Short Hills NJ into an elegant black and white wedding for a night to remember forever. We custom made white tufted bars in a textured waffle fabric which added a whole new dimension and look. We carried the white waffle throughout the party with custom coffee table tops. This party was all about texture. For the couches we introduced our new black floral velvet, which was a huge hit. If you’re not married yet, this wedding would make you want to go get hitched.

Jazzed Up Mitzvah

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

Jersey Street went jazz for a very cool, smooth jazz themed Bar Mitzvah at The Pearl River Hilton. We started off with a big leather bar with a brick wall backdrop. Very urban! We used our custom mirror tables and brushed metal tables all thoughout the party. We also built custom lampshades for all of the adult tables. The atmosphere was silky smooth like a real jazz club.

Purple Mania Mitzvah

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Jersey Street went way over the top last weekend at the Wilshire Grand. We did a Purple Mania Mitzvah. There were shades of purple everywhere. We started with a lilac tufted bar with a huge M on it for our Bat Mitzvah girl. Then we custom made a curved metal and lucite purple illuminated  bar with a big M. Do you see a trend here? The furniture was custom covered with  shiny lilac mylar and custom M pillows. The coolest thing was a lucite wall with purple daisies floating inside. This was a Sunday night party that rocked like a Saturday. The party was hot!!

Jersey Street Equestrian Mitzvah

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Jersey Street thought way out of the box with an equestrian themed Bat Mitzvah. We transformed Cedar Hill Country Club in NJ into an equestrian oasis draped in brown fabrics, rich leathers and even a mock pony fabric. The centerpiece was a huge oak and leather bar with a big flowered “R” for the Bat Mitzvah girl.  We accented everything with authentic riding bridals, boots and even a saddle. Giddy Yap!!

Jersey Street went camping this weekend out in the wilds of Millburn NJ. We took over the Sports Academy there and transformed it into a lodge for what else, but a Bar Mitzvah. We warmed up the huge space by draping the room in brown tones. We built a custom oak bar on one side of the massive space and a custom tree branch bar on the other side. On top of the tree bar were 4 real deer heads, uplighted in blue.

The guests sat on huge farm tables and barrel tables or chilled out in the brown distressed leather lounge. You really felt like you were hanging out in a lodge.
